The Strong Family

Here I am hurrying out to the plane because not only did he catch the 4 pm flight (as opposed to the 7 pm flight), but it was also 10 minutes early!! We arrived in just the nick of time! Although I was not prepared for his early arrival, we were thrilled that he came in when he did. In fact, Abby prayed that Brent would catch the 4 pm flight even though there was VERY SLIM chance that he would make it. Brent missed the shuttle bus from Sea-Tac to Boeing due to the wait in customs. As "luck" (God) would have it, a VP-1 duty driver was at Sea-Tac and offerred to drive Brent to Boeing field to catch the earlier flight. I am still amazed at how often God answers Abby's prayers.

It feels so good to have Brent back.

Sophie, Do you remember your Daddy??? Brent was shocked to see how much Sophie had changed over the past 5 months. When he left, she wasn't even rolling over. Now she's crawling, pulling up, clapping, and "talking." He said that it was a completely new baby.

I was a little concerned that Sophie would start to cry if Brent tried to hold her considering she hasn't seen him in over 5 months. Amazingly, she smiled and we even think that Sophie remembered her daddy.

I can't believe I'm back with my sweetie.
