Sophie Grace Strong is finally here!! She was born on Sunday, November 18th at 1:49 a.m. (8 days prior to her due date) I guess we can thank Abby for that. Saturday night when she was saying bedtime prayers, she asked that God would bring Sophie in the middle of that night. Less than 30 minutes later, my water broke and we were busy taking the kids to a friend's house to spend the night. (Thanks again Amanda!!!) We got to the hospital at 9:30 p.m. and Sophie was born about 4 and a half hours later. Everything went well with the exception of a few minor gliches with my epidural. I had somewhat painful labor because the epidural had missed a spot to remove the pain but it was not excruciating. I am thankful for that and for our little girl. She weighed 7 lbs. and 2 ozs. and is 20 inches long. We are all thrilled.

The proud daddy and his baby girl.

Caleb loves to kiss Sophie. He says that "Babies need wots of wuv."

Abby loves her little sister. She ALWAYS wanted to hold her. On the day that we left the hospital, Abby held Sophie for almost a straight hour!

First family photo with our newest addition.

Bringing the baby home from the hospital. Still in maternity clothes!!!

Sophie is exhausted from all the excitement of coming home.
