We're having a girl!!!! Yeah, yeah, yeah is all Abby can say. Right now I'm 22 weeks and feeling great. Everyone is excited about a baby girl in the family. I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and the doctor thought it was a girl. Yesterday we had the main ultrasound and the technician seemed fairly certain about the sex.

We had an AWESOME family vacation exploring the Olympic pennisula during Brent's summer leave. Here we are at the end of the Sol Duc Falls hike. The entire hike was breathtaking.

After our hike, we relaxed at the Sol Duc Hot Springs resort in the natural hot springs pools.

Brent, Abby, and Caleb enjoying the sparkling waters at Rialto Beach.

Before hiking down to Ruby Beach, Evan and I strike a pose.

The kids can never get enough of the water.

Climbing on top of the rocks at Ruby Beach.

Evan among the sea birds at Kalaloch Beach.

Abby and Caleb cooling off in the water.

A hike on the Hall of Mosses trail in the Hoh Rain Forest.

A hike to Madison Creek Falls. God blessed us with great weather on our vacation with the exception of one day of rain.

We did a fun and beautiful hike to the most Northwest point in the continental U.S. called Cape Flattery.

One of the scenic viewpoints on the Cape Flattery hike.

Another gorgeous stop along our hike at Cape Flattery.

Caleb is feeding a yak at the Olympic Game Park in Sequim. This is kind of like a zoo where you just drive around and get up-close and personal with all the animals. You even get to feed them bread.

Evan feeding a llama some bread.

Playing on a crazy tree in a park in Port Townsend.

Happy Fourth of July!! We celebrate the Fourth with an old fashion parade in Oak Harbor, followed by checking out the carnival. That evening we had BBQ with our friends the Boravinas.

While Brent's parents were out to visit, Brent and I were able to go on an overnight get-a-way to Victoria, B.C. (Canada). Pictured is downtown Victoria with the Fairmont Empress Hotel in the background.

We were there to celebrate Canada Day with all the patriotic Canadaians. Their parliment is in the background.

A glorious afternoon in the beautiful Butchart Gardens just outside of Victoria.
